The Porta armchair by Omelette editions is the result of an observation of the entrance portico of the Chandigarh Assembly Hall, designed by Le Corbusier in 1951. The armchair is an abstraction of the brutalism and duality of this portico, combining the soft and adaptable character of a curved main element with the rigorous and rectilinear character of the parallel planes that support it.
