Gubi are on an endless search, which results in a wide range of aesthetic objects that are characterized by simple shapes, unconventional materials and techniques that challenge time and space.
One of their most well known objects at the moment, the Gubi chair, is the first furniture to be produced by the technique of moulding three-dimensional veneer. This is a clear example of the fact that investigation and development of modern techniques applied on good design is an important priority to this brand of Danish origen.
At the same time Gubi are reintroducing classic designs from the innovate Swedish creator Greta Grossman who would later emigrate to the states. During the 50's Grossman brought inventive ideas to the world of interior and industrial design that would shape a whole generation.
An important part of Gubi's collection are the objects within the category of lightning. An exciting selection of both classic and contemporary designs that cover all possible needs of public and private spaces, objects with one attribute in common - timeless elegance.
